The loggers at Briarwood Forest Products have the tools and knowledge to handle any type of logging job, from dry site clearing or thinning. Our cutting equipment includes both a drive to tree feller buncher that is ideal for thinning, and a track cutter for clear cutting even the most remote sites.
We buy timber in North Carolina and Virginia with a 10 acre minimum. We do not harvest yard trees of any size. If you are a land owner and are interested in selling your timber, please contact us for a free estimate.

Yes, if you sell timber from your land, it must be counted as income. A 1099 form must be filed with the IRS for the transaction.

The timber contract includes a date by which the timber must be cut. When we cut depends on weather conditions, our current workload and the location of the timber.
